John was able to talk me into this insane race.

The Wasatch Back Relay .. 188 miles between 12 runners.

We struggled with a team name, at first we wanted 5 dudes and 10 boobs which was awesome but already taken. ( between a 1000 teams creativity has to be top notch) I suggested we be the smurfs and for some reason it stuck. Since all the other vans were so hilarious and working with their themes we just put a nice big honk if your Horny sign up. Lots of horny runners out there, people were honking like the 4th of July.

It was a really fun race neat experience I think everyone should try at least once.

FAYE came home from her Mission in March. Its been fantastic having her home she is well adjusted now. She got a job at America First Credit Union. She will Be starting school back up in the Fall.

It was nice to spend a week in St. George with everyone. Tyler and Lynae Surprised lyndee with getting to meet her nephew for the first time.

I feel better about Roller Derby, Its a tough sport to catch onto but once you start figuring it out, it becomes that much more fun. I got to jam a lot more and that me happy to get that experience. I really Enjoy having my family and Friends there to support me so thank you so much to everyone who came on Saturday. <3

My sweetest dearest friend is having a little boy. Last week we had a fun baby shower for her and I just love talking with old friends seeing how everyone has changed and grown up. So many funny stories to be told. An all around excellent time. I am really just so proud of Bonnie she is just one of those amazing people you want to be like. She even played Volleyball with us 7 months pregnant and did extremely well! She has just accomplished so much its wonderful to see the beautiful woman she has become.
Bonnie also married such a great guy and I am so happy he takes such good care of her. She is going to be an amazing mother, That baby is one lucky boy.

Thanks to Whitney and McCall for helping put all this on. It was wonderful.

My sweet family came to my volleyball game this week. I joined a rec league with some awesome girls ill have to show some of that later. My mom said that Mimi's Cafe has the best Hot Chocolate in all the land. of course she was correct it was delicious and very whip creamy.

I made everyone dunk their faces in. So much fun. I love you Family: )

John is so great he has been working so hard and being so patient to get his new job! He finally was able to land a job with his company as a pharmacy tech and he is so happy. To celebrate we went out to dinner and had a really nice night. I just wanted to say how lucky I am to have such a fun wonderful guy in my life. I am so proud of him. <3

And we are really just silly so its hard to take serious photos when there is so much fun to be had.

Roller Derby Weekend... in Las Vegas!!!

My league was invited to bout by the famous Sin City Roller Dolls. My camera died before the match so I only got a shot of our jerseys hanging up in our hotel room.

WE did lose but we played really well for our off season.. had really practiced in three months. It was an extra exciting party after, we go to this great restaurant that had a mechanical bull and live band. I
was quite the bull riding fool I might even look into taking up rodeo on the side.

This young lady I am with in the second picture is from the Sin city team ( Nee Kay 47) people were mixing us up due to our similar look! We traded jerseys at the end of the night! its kind of scary to look like someone. The funny thing is I was kind of hitting on her husband later( not knowing anything at the time) he was so incredibly nerdy I couldn't help my self.. so we have the same taste in men as well. go team look a like!!

Fremont street was actually REALLY cool. I had never really explored this part of old Vegas. These were the girls I got to ride down to vegas with, ME, Killa Patra, Lavitcas Maximus and Colonel Skirts. ( our derby names of course.) Here we are pretending to be the fabulous Beatles for some reason. It really seemed funny at the time.. I told everyone to walk in place I guess I am the only one who follows instructions.

Babys and Trees

Long time no post.. doubt anyone really checks me out but there has been a few fun things going on my little life.

First off!!! BABY, Tyler and Layne left me stranded and alone in Utah with no baby to hug and kiss. ( They moved to Alabama which was awesome for them so I am happy but I miss them and my baby. ) My new Nephew was Born November 13th and he is adorable. I love him so much its crazy

My mom and I were lucky enough to attend Festival of Trees auction night! WOW what a rush. We ended up getting a very adorable tree. But the process was for those who have done it before. My mom and I were running around like mad women . I guess you get like 20 minutes per 3 rows of trees to bid on. If your name is on the list it goes to a silent auction to out bit everyone else. Needless to say my mom and I failed the first couple trees. But came out on top in the end. It was great to see so much money going to the amazing hospital that is Primary Childrens. The Nurses and Doctors have taken such sweet care of my little Alec we are sooooo lucky to be so close to one of the finest Chrildrens hospitals in the world.

John and I went to Portland last weekend to visit my cousin Johnny. We had a ton of fun and ate the coolest Moroccan restaurant where we sat on the floor and had a 5 course meal topped with belly dancers.

Portland is nice and green and filled with some very interesting people.

Downtown was a ton of fun I especially loved the Karaoke and the Mini Golf.
It got a little annoying having two Johns. we started calling my cousin J2 but I would still forget.
anyway It was a lot of fun.

Sorry so much Derby... I am just falling in love with it.

So we had our expo Bout last weekend. It was sooo much fun. I worked really hard to be able to keep up with these amazing babes.

So I picked the Number 784 because thats how many pages are in the last book of Harry Potter and it suits me well.

My whole Family came out to see me it was such a blast.

This has been the most fun I have had in years. I love being active and staying fit doing something crazy like this. Now I just need to bulk up I look like a twig!

Harry Potter Party!!

Ah yes : ) We dressed up for the New Harry Potter Movie.

It was so much fun.

We were a little disappointed in the crowd. Me and Johns Family were the only ones dressed up and everyone else were all a bunch of highly hormonal teens trying to be cool.

Doesn't matter though we are die hard fans and we love the books/movies.

Movie was awesome. I think its the best one yet.

I joined a league with Johns sisters. I have a great shot of Lindsay, Who is the Captain of the Junction City Roller Dolls.

We have alter ego names, I have chosen "Harry Slaughter". In honor of my favorite book and because its awesome and sounds tough. I have been to about three practices and I really enjoy it. Can't wait to have a Bout where I can show you all my skills!!!

I am going to put up a video about how roller derby is played.

Alec has been diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor called Medulloblastoma. We found out on Friday 5/1/09.. he had it mostly removed on Monday 5/4/09 at Primary Children's Hospital on his birthday. He has been so brave. We have had a great out pour of love and support. I want to thank everyone. I love my family and my precious little brother Alec so much. Keep him in your prayers.

So I was blog stalking all the people I love and enjoy getting updates on their lives! Everyone has such cute kids and such fun stories. Then I realized the way to have an awesome blog is to have kids. Since children are not in my near future I wanted to pretend .

I imagine my children will be horrible, and I only think this because I gave my parents a lot of grief and they assured me that I will be punished when I have my own.

I came across this picture and this little girl looked exactly like I did when I was that age so I foresee this being a possibility for a future post: I just thought it was hilarious : ) made my day

Braydon and I ready to get out of the rain!!

My parents surprised me with tickets to Wicked I was so excited and the show was amazing!!

We ate at the roof where we had a fabulous meal and as you can see braydon got really fat . We had a great surprise while we were there, Elder Hales the Apostle was eating dinner with his friends and while gathering food at the amazing buffet he told us a great golf story about his only hole in one. It was so cute.

Riley and Lyndee have been on their missions for a little over 6 months and they both sent me really great letters : ) I was so happy they thought of me.

My family is the best!! Greatest 24th birthday I have ever had : ) now I am off to get my braces.. Ill show you some pics of that later! wish me luck

I had a fabulous weekend.. John and I went up to my parents to get some bowling action and Easter baskting in!! Although our bowling skills were under par ( and we consider our selfs a fairly competitive bowling family last year my mom got us all bowling shoes and we like to pretend we are pretty hard core when we come waltzing in) WE had a ton of fun. I am really excited for this new movie coming out.. well It comes out in October.
one of the first dates john ever took me on he read to me "Where The Wild Things Are" and did all the voices, it was of course adorable. Recently I have been getting back in touch with my best friend Bonnie. When we were in Jr. High all our friends went to a different high school and we felt abandoned and it really brought us closer as friends. I was so happy to have Bonnie as my partner in crime in high school. We were particularly hilarious and awesome together. I always miss Bonnie : ). She has the greatest sense of humor and she is just such a strong person I always wished I was more like her. We got to go to a jazz game recently together and it was such a blast. Sometimes you forget how much you miss your true friends until you get to see them again of course.

some of my favorite moments were when we would sit together and pretend that we were well liked and highly perused by boys. I would say things like " Oh man, I came home and there were hordes of flowers on my door steps. Its just like please boys stop i can't handle so much attention right now". Bonnie would reply " Don't get me started, you wouldn't believe the mess I came home too, men were lined up ready to sing love songs and worship me, its gets annoying".

Valentines Weekend At Keystone

We had a really cute valentines dinner complete with red applesauce and sparkling Cider : )

Lynaes Family Invited my family up to Keystone Colorado for the Weekend. We Stayed in a huge cabin and did some excellent snowboarding. I guess this was an older cabin that a lot of people use in Lynaes fathers company and It was very neat. They had the oddest decorations though, for example stuffed bunny rabbits with guns and big pots dressed like a donkey..

Good times, although braydon did bust his Heel bone snowboarding that kind of put a damper on things, but he is a good sport.

Christmas was fantastic we had a lot of fun in Park City where my parents got a us a great condo right on the slopes. We loved talking to Lyndee who is enjoying her mission. Riley was flying to the Philippines that day so we never got to talk to him. Lynaes ( Tyler's wife) family joined us in the festivities and they are really great we love the Gardiner's. Also my Roommate Sarah came with me and she was a great competitor in the Unsicker Christmas challenges. The snow was wonderful and the snowboarding was great fun.

This is my favorite... so my dad is one fun guy and we are a very competitive family. Since my dad has everything a guy could possibly want its hard to get any type of gift for him.. plus he has gift for figuring out what his gifts are before he gets them.

So for his 50th Birthday ( his birthday is on Christmas day) I Got him this trophy to represent the winner of any of the games we all play together. Growing up any game we played was always the championships of the world so I got the trophy engraved " Champion of the championships of the world"

Disney Land

First off ...Best weekend ever!!!

Sarah and I headed out to LA for some party time over th 20-24th of this November. We waited in line at midnight for the showing of Twilight and we thought it was fabulous. My parents happened to be in California at the same time we were, so we got to spend a day with them. As you can see I was very excited I whipped out my double chin smile.

Then we spent the next two days at Disneyland and I love Disneyland happiest place on earth. We Watched the Incredible Utah vs BYU game at the ESPN center at Downtown Disney.. we had a blast and are kind of sad we had to come home to cold Utah.. but we are looking forward to Thanksgiving. here are some pictures from our awesome trip!! MY daddy is the greatest man!! HE got all of us tickets to the Playoff game for the REAL Salt Lake soccer game. HE took us out to dinner and even though it was Butt cold and the team lost we still had a fabulous time hitting out noise makers together . We always have a great time together.

Since everyone has so much fun with these I thought I would join in the action. Even though my life is less then exciting maybe people will care to know how I am doing : )

Its been a crazy year, lots of changing. I am still living in Salt Lake with my puppy Aurora. I have a new roommate Sarah. We have a lot of fun and get a long really well.

this last weekend was Tyler's ( my brother) Wedding to his new Bride Lynae. They were so adorable and happy. It was just a great weekend. I loved seeing all my little brothers in there sharp looking tuxedos.

I wanted to say how greatful I am to my family. They are the most supportive and amazing people. I don't know where I would be with out them. I want the Thank them all espeically my parents for taking good care of me through my struggles this year.
